The wedding day festivities started with a vibrant Barat, a lively parade filled with music and dancing, escorting Riju to the ceremony. Following this, the milni ceremony symbolically unites both families, marking a formal and heartfelt welcome.

Central to their union were the sacred Seven Steps, where Rachael and Riju solemnly pledged to uphold timeless promises: to grow together in strength, nourish each other, and remain lifelong friends, among others, amidst the blessings of their loved ones.

After their Hindu ceremony, Rachael and Riju opted for an outfit change, complete with intricately detailed attire fit for their evening reception. Their first dance, set on clouds and with a cold-spark backdrop got the party started. The electric dance floor kept spirits high, with guests reveling in joyous moments throughout the night, forgetting it was one of the hottest and most humid days of the year thus far.
