Maddie and Austin’s wedding was a true celebration of all their favorite things: nature, food, and their dogs. As avid foodies who met working in the restaurant industry (with Austin as a chef!), their day was filled with thoughtful culinary touches and a deep connection to the outdoors.

To make sure their dog, Buddha, could be part of the day, the couple reached out to us with what they thought was a crazy idea - "Can we pull this off in 6 months?" We said, "absolutely." With an expedited planning timeline, we ensured their furry friend was able to attend and take center stage.

 

When it was time for the ceremony, guests were welcomed down a scenic nature trail to a standing ceremony with a breathtaking waterfall as the backdrop. The dogs, including Buddha, were ushered in as part of the wedding party, adding an extra layer of love and warmth. A sweet hand-fasting ritual during the ceremony symbolized Maddie and Austin’s deep connection, tying their lives together.

At cocktail hour, guests were greeted with a variety of cuisine-forward appetizers, perfect for the food-loving couple. A unique seating chart led guests to their tables, where the foodie theme continued with centerpieces made from different fruits and vegetables, such as tomatoes, corn, onions, and cucumbers, replacing traditional table numbers.

Dinner was a feast for the senses, with creative stations offering Asian- and Italian-inspired menus, reflecting Maddie and Austin’s passion for delicious, diverse cuisine. As the evening unfolded, guests enjoyed a refreshing late-night snack of gelato and personal pizzas, served on the patio—a sweet and refreshing end to an unforgettable day.
